    This chapter examines the properties of binary collisions between charged particles and neutrals (molecules) and treating them in weakly-ionized plasmas. Fundamental to low-temperature, weakly-ionized plasma, and their large variety of applications, is the much studied (particularly experimentally) domain of electrical discharges in gases.
